THE COMEDY CLUB

Humour is an essential connector amongst people who are separated.

Laughter builds bridges, fills in space … and is something that some people desperately need during trying times.

This is a Corporate Stand Up Comedy Club (where the jokes are all vetted for appropriateness!). Jokes can be supplied by Darren or BYO (again, they will be vetted beforehand!) … and everyone gets an opportunity to feel the thrill (and the terror) of standing up and trying to make people laugh.

Whilst the aim is to spread the joy of humour throughout the group, sometimes when something DOESN’T get people to laugh, it can be the funniest outcome of all!

Benefits

It is something different.
For some, it will be a ‘fish-out-of-water’ experience.
For others, it could be a dream come true.
Whilst no-one will be forced to venture on ‘stage’, everyone is given an opportunity.
And laughter is like chicken soup for the soul, so there’s ALWAYS a benefit to your people having a chuckle.

PREPARATION:

Participants are invited in the lead-up to volunteer and submit the jokes they would like to perform. They can also volunteer to perform and be supplied with jokes.
